INDEPENDENCE DAY JR. (2024)
The primary section of St. Patrick's Jr. College celebrated the 78th Independence Day on 13 August. 2023, in the junior side hall. The hall was beautifully decorated which elevated the patriotic feeling within everyone. Our Principal, Rev Sr. Leena was the chief guest for the celebrations.
A small cultural programme was held in which students of class 4 and 5 participated with full enthusiasm, It started with the introduction stating the importance of the day, followed by a dance on Vande Mataram dedicated to our country India. Student recited poem....Where the mind is without fear....moving towards the theme....VIKSIT BHARAT.
A small skit was put up on Swadeshi Movement which made the students aware of the importance of using Indian products ....and leading to their contribution in progress of our country Through this the students were made to realize the hard work and sacrifices of our freedom fighters.

Principal, Rev Sr. Leena also addressed the students with her encouraging and inspiring words. In the end the National Anthem was sung and all the children left with a proud feeling of patriotism in their hearts.
