ENGLISH WRITING COMPETITION JR. 2026
"Good handwriting is a reflection of a disciplined mind."
An English Handwriting Competition was held on 30th April 2026 at St. Patrick’s Junior College, Agra, for the students of Classes I to V. The competition aimed to enhance the writing skills of the students and to encourage them to develop neatness, clarity, and proper formation of letters.
The students were given a paragraph from their course books and were instructed to write it neatly, following the Marian Richardson pattern. The young participants showed great enthusiasm and dedication as they carefully crafted each letter, striving to present their best handwriting.
The competition witnessed active participation from all sections. It was a delightful sight to see the children working with full concentration, displaying their fine motor skills and creativity through their writing.
The best three students from each section were awarded certificates by the Headmistress, Rev. Sr. Shanti. She appreciated the efforts of all the participants and encouraged them to continue practicing to improve their handwriting skills.
The event proved to be a meaningful and enjoyable learning experience, promoting discipline, patience, and a sense of pride in neat and beautiful writing among the students.
