80TH INDEPENDENCE DAY (2026)
The 80th Independence Day was celebrated on 15th August 2026 with great patriotic spirit and enthusiasm. The programme commenced with the flag hoisting, followed by the National Anthem and a disciplined and energetic March Past by the four Houses led by the Council members. The Chief Guest, Dr. Rhea Sahjwani Ma’am, graced the occasion. The ceremonial lamp was then lit, marking the beginning of the cultural programme on the theme ‘Honouring Freedom Inspiring Future’
The cultural presentation included a prayer service, prayer dance, patriotic songs and a captivating dance drama portraying the lives, struggles and sacrifices of our freedom fighters, with patriotic dances beautifully woven into the narrative. The students were reminded of their responsibility as Indian citizens to strengthen our country.
The programme concluded with the launch of the school magazine by our respected Principal, Sr. Alice.
The Endeavour House was declared the winner of the March Past.
