INDEPENDENCE DAY
The students of class XII celebrated the 77th Independence Day with great patriotic fervor. The day started with the unfurling of the national flag by the Chief Guest, Dr. Vidhu Grace and our Principal, Sr. Leena. This was followed by the national anthem and a spirited march past by the various houses. After a poetry recitation and Hindi Speech by our teacher, Ms. Taruchhaya Saxena, a short cultural programme was held in the Multipurpose Hall. The programme began with a short prayer service followed by songs and a dance drama to commemorate the sacrifices of the various famous and unnamed freedom fighters. The students also recited poems and performed an energetic and moving patriotic dance. The Chief Guest highlighted the importance of rights and duties as mentioned in the Indian Constitution. Encounter House (Red House) secured the first position in March Past. The programme ended with the Principal's Speech and Vote of Thanks.
