MATHS FEST (1.11.2023)
Mathrix : Season 1, 2023-24
Our school, St. Patrick’s Junior College, Agra proudly hosted “Mathrix: Season 1” an electrifying Inter-School Math Fest under the benevolent guidance of our principal, Rev. Sr. Leena D. Matera, and our Math mentor Mr. K.K. Agarwal in order to bring together young minds to celebrate the elegance of mathematics. The fest was graced by the presence of eminent chief guests, Sir Brigadier Rajneesh Mohan and Guest of Honor Add. SP , Sir Amit Raj.
Ten schools participated in the fest. The fest featured a plethora of thrilling activities. “Maptrix” unfolded as a treasure hunt challenging participants’ problem-solving skill, while “Algorhythm” showcased melodious math through a band competition. “Reelix” let the students unleash their creativity in reel making, and “Engenio” saw intricate model creations. “Math-a-Mosaic” revealed the artistic side of math with Rangoli competitions, “In-quiz-ition” tested wits in a thrilling math quiz, and “Binomial Bard” let students express their mathematical emotions, while “Mathspam” became the epicenter for intense equation solving battles.
Mathrix, indeed tested passion, competition, and mathematical brilliance in young minds and their dedication and enthusiasm was truly inspiring. After fierce competition, St. Peters College proudly lifted the overall Champions Trophy while St. Conrad’s was given the Runners-up position.
