GIRL CHILD DAY (8TH SEPTEMBER 2023)

The student of Peace Club got the privilege to conduct the assembly, celebrating the feast of our Mother Mary on 8th September, the Day also widely commemorated as the Girl Child Day. The assembly began with a prayer service, invoking God’s presence. The pure, pious and sinless life of Blessed Virgin Mary and the obstacles she faced in her lives were narrated to the students. The students of the peace club also presented few dances creating a widespread fervour about women’s power in the audience, followed by a guitar performance, which was a beautiful ode to the girl child and empowered women of today. We thank our Mother Mary for protecting us against wrong. The women of today have donned the mental of a police woman, pilot, judge, lawyer and most importantly a strong and dignified status in the society.
