GIRL CHILD DAY SPECIAL ASSEMBLY (JR.)
"Empower a girl today, and she will empower the world tomorrow. A girl child is the foundation of a brighter future." Girl child day was celebrated in St. Patrick’s Junior College where students of class II conducted a special assembly on the topic “Girl Child Education”. The assembly started with a warm welcome of the school principal Rev. Sister Leena who highlighted the importance of educating and supporting girls in our society. The event featured a series of performances by students , beginning with a prayer dance that celebrated the strength and potential of girls. This was followed by a skit that portrayed the challenges faced by girls and the importance of education in overcoming these obstacles. The program was concluded by a video presentation on Malala’s speech given at the time of winning the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony. Her story inspired everyone of the endless possibilities when girls are empowered.
