Good Touch and Bad Touch
An informative assembly on the topic “Good Touch and Bad Touch” was conducted on 7th April, 2025 by Class V B to create awareness among students about personal safety and body autonomy. The assembly was attended by students from [Classes I to V]
The session began with a short skit The Traffic Signal...where three lights indicated three types of touches...children performed it very well depicting clearly the touches related to three lights suited with the examples highlighting everyday situations where children might encounter inappropriate behavior which explained the difference between a good touch (which makes one feel safe and cared for) and a bad touch (which makes one feel uncomfortable, scared, or confused).
Students were encouraged to speak up, say “No,” and report any inappropriate behavior to a trusted adult. The assembly introduced the “No-Go-Tell” safety rule—Say No, Get Away, and Tell a Trusted Adult.
Visual aids like a video were shown to reinforce the message.
Overall, the assembly was successful in educating students about body safety, empowering them to protect themselves, and promoting open communication between students and adults.
